A Plastic Flower Pot Is So Convenient

And Beautiful! as a matter of fact it looks just like ceramic and no one will be able to tell the difference unless they try lifting it. If you were to see my yard there are at least a dozen plastic flower pot and just four made from ceramic.

My neighbor and I have done our spring planting together for many years. Prior to our buying day we each check out the various nurseries to compare prices and plant quality as well as variety. On the prearranged day we leave early in the morning and have breakfast together at a neighborhood café and then go to the nurseries that we have decided to purchase from.

One of the nurseries has a large supply of ceramic pots, bird baths and other lawn ornaments. I wanted to start at this nursery because I noticed a large crack and chip in one of my ceramic pots so I needed to replace it.

When we arrived at the nursery I noticed a large stack of pots. I told my neighbor that I was going to pick one out while she began shopping for plants. I was surprised when I went to pick up one of the planters to find out it was a plastic flower pot. The owner of the nursery was close by and I asked him where the ceramic pots were located.

He said that this year he was only going to carry the plastic flower pot. He went on to tell me that he was loosing too much merchandize to breakage and chipping. Also the ceramic pots are much heavier in weight so they are very difficult for people to lift and move once they have been filled with dirt and plants.

The plastic flower pot did look like it was made of ceramic. I picked one up and went to find my neighbor. She saw that I was carrying the flower pot and she asked if I wanted to put it in the car rather than carry it. She was very surprised to find out that this was a plastic flower pot.

She agreed that it looked like ceramic and that it was going to be much more convenient to use because of the lighter weight. It would also be easy to store because it was stackable and much more portable. We picked out several plants for our yards. When we were checking out at the register my neighbor decided to get a plastic flower pot also.

She thought it would look nice by her mail box at the end of the driveway. She would be able to transport the pot back and forth in the spring and fall because of the light weight. Also she did not have to worry about it getting chipped or broken by loose stones or gravel.

We stopped at two other nurseries and bought additional plants then spent the afternoon planting and potting. By that evening our yards looked great with the added colors of the flowers. And of course the plastic flower pot I bought looked grand out in the middle of the yard close to the front gate.
